This client is one of the nation’s oldest supermarket chains, priding themselves on offering the freshest food and friendliest shopping experience. Based out of the Midwest they have over 4,000 employees in 25 locations.

Business opportunity

To implement Kronos Workforce Central Scheduling and Forecasting solution in stores to drive more accurate and optimal schedules delivering an improved deployment of payroll investment, enhanced coverage to customer need and compliance to union rules.


Presence of IT, in collaboration with the client,  built a turnkey solution for the implementation and training of forecasting and optimized scheduling in all departments of their supermarket enterprise. The implementation included the creation of new labor standards to support new process surrounding customer facing activities.
